Il y a quelques années, Jean-Marie, jeune homosexuel toxicomane est devenu Sandra, prostituée de la place de la Nation à Paris. Josée, sa mère, retraitée, a abandonné depuis dix ans une vie tranquille pour vivre jusqu’au bout avec Sandra, combler sa solitude, l’aider à faire face à sa récente séropositivité et peut-être à abandonner la drogue. Le film raconte la vie de ce couple déchirant et se veut le récit d’une histoire d’amour exceptionnelle.

A Mother’s Nightmare

A few years ago, Jean-Marie, a young male homosexual drug-addict became Sandra, a transvestite prostitute in Paris. Now she lives the everyday violence of prostitution, drugs and the recent confirmation of being seropositive. Josée, her widowed mother, has left her tranquil life in retirement to join Sandra, to help her in her loneliness and despair and to try to help her beat her drug addiction.
